Write docs 4x faster. Without hating every second.
Nobody became a developer to write documentation. But the docs still need to get written — PRDs, README updates, architecture decisions, onboarding guides.
Wispr Flow lets you talk through it instead. Speak naturally about what the code does, how it works, and why you built it that way. Flow formats everything into clean, professional text you can paste into Notion, Confluence, or GitHub.
Used by engineering teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay. 89% of messages sent with zero edits. Works system-wide on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.
Commissioning Is Not Optional
Commissioning is the systematic verification that the installed system operates correctly and safely before the client takes possession. It is required by AS 4777.1, the CEC Design and Installation Certificate process, and the DNSP grid connection agreement. A system that has been "turned on" is not commissioned — a system that has been tested, verified, documented, and signed off is commissioned.
Pre-Energisation Checks
All mechanical fixings confirmed — racking, panel clamps, conduit supports
All DC connectors fully mated (visual inspection + tug test)
All string polarities confirmed (voltmeter — positive to positive throughout)
Array insulation resistance tested: each string positive-to-earth and negative-to-earth (>1 MΩ per string)
String VOC measured and compared to calculated value (±5%)
AC cable insulation resistance tested
Earth continuity from inverter to main earth bar measured (<1 Ω)
RCD/RCBO trip time tested (<40 ms at 5× rated leakage current)
All labels confirmed in place and legible
Energisation and Functional Tests
AC isolation switch operated — confirm inverter shuts down
Inverter DC isolator opened — confirm inverter shuts down
Grid connection: inverter syncs to grid within manufacturer's specified time
Measured AC output voltage (228–232 V) and frequency (49.9–50.1 Hz)
Volt-Watt / Volt-VAR settings confirmed (per DNSP requirements)
Grid protection settings confirmed (voltage and frequency thresholds)
Anti-islanding test: open AC isolation switch with inverter running — verify trip within 2 seconds
For battery systems: charge and discharge cycle initiated; SoC display calibrated
Documentation
Commissioning test form completed with measured values
CEC Design and Installation Certificate signed and dated
CCEW (or state equivalent) issued
DNSP notification submitted
Owner handover completed (system operation, emergency isolation, maintenance requirements)
