Install on the rear roof slope — not visible from the street
Use low-profile clamp systems that sit flush with the roof profile
Specify black-on-black panels (black frame, black backsheet) that are less visually intrusive on dark roofs
Avoid ballasted systems on heritage slate or shingle roofs that cannot support the additional load
